Geography Club

by Brent Hartinger

Russell Middlebrook thinks that he's the only gay student at Goodkind High. Hanging out in gay chat rooms, Russell learns otherwise: Kevin Land, superjock, is also gay. After they meet and admit their preferences to each other, they soon discover that they are not alone. With three other homosexual students, they form an afterschool support club--"geography club."

Ah, another novel about teen angst. . . well, homosexual teen angst. Sometimes stilted in its portrayal of teens, this novel is still entertaining and well paced. And certainly a different point of view for many readers.
