by Stephen King
Clayton Riddell is on cloud nine: he just sold his first graphic novel in Boston. Drawing is no longer just a hobby for him anymore. Unfortunately, the same afternoon that his life changes for the better, it also changes for the worse. On this afternoon, a pulse will be emitted from everyone's cell phones, and those who are using the phones will become violent zombies. And the people without phones? They'll run for their lives. Like Clay. And the other people he meets along the way.
Okay, this book is really lame. There's no build-up to the terror. The action begins immediately, and the most graphic carnage is in the beginning of the book. Come on, Mr. King, you haven't made cell phones scary for me--they already transform their owners into zombies. What a disappointment.
