Not a Girl Detective

Cece Caruso, authoress of literary biographies, is tackling a new topic: Carolyn Keene. Yes, that’s right, she’s writing a biography of the ghostwriters of the Nancy Drew series. And that’s not all! She’ll be addressing fans at a Nancy Drew convention.

Of course, there has to be a dead body involved, and this time it is the body of Edgar Edwards, a true blue collector of all that is Nancy Drew. It is up to Cece and her pals to find Edgar’s murderer and save some original paintings of the model who posed for the Nancy Drew covers.

It’s not the first book in the series, but I was easily able to jump into the story and enjoy Cece. She’s into vintage fashion, so that’s fairly entertaining. Also, I enjoyed this for its Nancy Drew theme.
