Blood and Chocolate

by Annette Curtis Klause

Vivian is not your average teenage girl. She’s beautiful, intelligent, and artistic. She is also a werewolf.

What happens when a werewolf falls for a human? You’ll find out when Vivian falls for Aiden, instead of one of the members of her pack. She yearns to show Aiden her true self, but knows that such a revelation could be big trouble. Additionally, she is caught up in pack politics, as well as the typical struggles with her mother.

I liked this novel. Vivian is a very likeable character; unfortunately, no other character is as well developed as she is. Still, if you like vampires or werewolves, you’ll probably enjoy this novel for young adults.
