The Secret Diaries of Miss Miranda Cheever

by Julia Quinn

Miss Miranda Cheever is no great beauty. Everyone knows that and never fails to mention it to her. Coupled with her meager dowry, she is hardly a standout in the marriage market. To Miranda, this matters not, for she has been in love with the same man since she was ten years old.

Nigel Bevelstoke aka Viscount Turner is the handsome (and randy) older brother of Miranda's best friend, Olivia. Obviously, Miranda's affections for Turner are not realistic. Or are they?

As the two grow older, circumstances change, and Miss Cheever and Viscount Turner do indeed become a couple. But can they sustain the romance and create a successful marriage? Read and find out.

So, this isn't the best JQ book I've ever read. And the plot was sort of stupid. But I still enjoyed it.
