by Holley Bishop
So, I read this for my library's summer reading program, Read Green, Live Green. And I have to say, it was not as good as I thought it would be.
First of all, the author is some dilettante who thought she'd dabble in beekeeping. Whatever. Anyway, she then follows around a nice beekeeper in Florida. His name is Donald Smiley, and he teaches her all about bees and honey and everything else.
She drones on and on about the history of beekeeping, the virtues of honey, and the thrilling world of beeswax. Too long.
On the positive side, the book is a fairly quick read.
