by Ron Paul
Several months ago, I took some crazy internet quiz to determine which candidate was most similar to me in beliefs. The result: Ron Paul. I didn't vote for him in the primary, but was really intrigued by the idea of a different candidate.
The Revolution is a slim volume about Paul's basic political beliefs. He's not a fan of the income tax. He doesn't like our country meddling in the affairs of so many other countries. He thinks that the Federal Reserve is a disaster. Basically, he would prefer a simpler government that interferes less. Even I can agree with that basic principle!
As I stated, the volume is slim, but I did gain a better understanding of the congressman's beliefs. This book definitely gives the reader something to think about when casting his/her vote.
