Parents send their children to Avery Academy because they want their children to get a good education. They also want their children to be safe. When a sex scandal rocks the school, lives and reputations are shattered.
Told from various points of view, Testimony is the story of the sex scandal. Along the way, you will meet the headmaster who attempted to cover up the crime, the boys and girl involved in the sexual acts, the parents of the children involved, and even the lunch lady. Bit by bit, the reader learns how things happened and what precipitated certain characters' behaviors.
For the most part, this is a quick read. But for some reason, the headmaster's story seems to drag. Of course, it doesn't help that the character is also despicable.
