Club Dead

Sookie's back! And now she's heading to Jackson, MS to find Bill, who's been abducted.

First, she's introduced to Alcide, a werewolf who will help her to navigate the vampire scene in town. And by vampire scene, I mean Josephine's aka Club Dead.

While it sounds like Harris is heading into Laurell K Hamilton's territory, she's really not. Alcide is a very interesting and likable character; perhaps even more likable than Sam Merlotte. Definitely a fun potential love interest!

Of course, there's still a mystery element to the story. And we also learn the true identity of Bubba, the less than intelligent vampire.

Book 3 has kept my interest in the Southern Vampire series.
