Meet Hannah Swensen, owner and proprietor of The Cookie Jar, a cookie joint in Lake Eden, MN.

Not much happens in cozy Lake Eden until Hannah's favorite delivery man is murdered. Then she puts on her amateur sleuth cap, all the while dealing with her annoying, matchmaking mother.

I did not think that this was a great mystery. Nor did the cookie recipes appeal. Honestly, who uses melted butter in their cookies?! I'm just saying.
