If love is a ship made of paper, prepare for a cruise on the Titanic.
Daniel, his live-in girlfriend Kate, and her daughter Ruby have just moved to upstate New York. They left NYC after a frightening and damaging racial incident involving Daniel. He is happy to be back home.
Enter Iris. She is the mother of Ruby's best friend and the most beautiful and wonderful black woman Daniel's ever met. He is in love.
A freakish snow storm in October strands Daniel and Iris together and enables the inevitable. Needless to say, their affair is an absolute recipe for disaster. The catastrophic nature of their affair reaches epic proportions--so bad that you almost don't want to keep reading. Actions and consequences are beyond stupid and painful.
