Shadow Prey

by John Sandford

A Lucas Davenport novel

Lucas Davenport is back, and the murders aren’t confined to the Twin Cities this time around.

Multiple murders have been committed in the Twin Cities, as well as New York. The method is the same (slashed throat), but there appears to be more than one person committing the crimes. And did I tell you that there is a Native American connection to the killings?

This entry has everything that a Prey novel should have: Minnesota locales, Lucas Davenport’s womanizing, and a police force that can’t live without Davenport’s sharp mind and numerous street connections.

Not as good as the first one, but still a good read.
