Sally Jay Gorce is a breezy, young American in Paris in the 1950s. She is beautiful and sophisticated and having the time of her life. Or is she?
It’s all very complicated with Sally Jay. She’s having an affair with a married man and is in love with someone else. And another man wants to marry her! Moreover, she has a budding acting career. She can have it all, as long as she is as savvy as she pretends to be.
Though it starts out slowly, this is an amusing little novel. The story took an unexpected turn or two, and Sally Jay kept me guessing until the end.
