Lucas Davenport is back, and he’s got quite a case this time. Stephanie Dekker has been murdered, and her body has been most hideously disfigured. Her eyes have been removed.
The tricky part is, two people are responsible for her death: her husband and the man he hired to kill her (Druze). To further complicate things, more people are murdered, and Dekker and Druze are both involved, thought it looks to be the work of just one person.
Can Lucas set aside his personal problems, namely depression, and solve these crimes in a timely manner? Of course.
