Hummingbirds

by Joshua Gaylord

Leo Binhammer loves women, and he is surrounded by them. He teaches English at the Carmine-Casey School for Girls and is the only male teacher in the department. Of course, he is worshipped by the girls at C-C.

His marriage, however, is not so great. While at a conference, his wife had an affair with a man named Ted Hughes (ha ha).

Binhammer’s world is turned upside down when Ted Hughes is hired to teach English at C-C. Hughes not only serves as a reminder of Leo’s wife’s infidelity; he also steals Leo’s thunder at school.

And the best part? Ted doesn’t know who Binhammer is. And Binhammer’s wife doesn’t know that Ted Hughes is teaching at the same school as her husband. Of course, everyone will eventually collide.
