Here is yet another entry in the turn of the century Gossip Girl series. Here’s what our main characters are up to:

• Elizabeth: very pregnant and now doubting her new hubby.

• Penelope: tired of her new hubby (already) and flirting with a foreign prince.

• Henry: still can’t stand his new wife (Penelope) and still in love with Di.

• Di: quite restless and still in love with Henry.

• Carolina: now a wealthy heiress; all she lacks is a husband.

Everyone’s story will be concluded, sort of. I was surprised to learn that this is the end of the series. I’d rather read a few more Luxe novels!
