Casting Off

by Nicole R. Dickson

Rebecca Moray and her daughter, Rowan, have traveled to Ireland for Rebecca’s research. She hopes to write a book about Irish knitting.

Once she gets to the island, Rebecca finds that little of her work is getting accomplished. What gets in her way most is her attitude. She distrusts everyone. She refuses to open herself to the wonders of the island and its knitting lore.

Obviously, Rebecca has some issues about her past. Once she lets go of her past, Rebecca will be free to fall in love with an Irishman and learn the secrets of Irish knitting. And everyone on the island will help her with these tasks.

Cheesy, corny, hokey, and predictable. But still enjoyable to some extent.
