Silent Prey

by John Sandford

This novel picks up where Eyes of Prey left us—cringing at the grisly details of serial killer Bekker. Well, lock your doors, people! Bekker has escaped police custody and is back to his old tricks. Icky!

And he’s moved to New York. Yay! And, as you may remember, Lucas Davenport has a lover in NYC, Lily. So, he’ll leave Minneapolis and help NYC’s finest with the case.

Davenport’s a great cop, but Bekker is a smooth operator, and the NYPD is full of its own surprises. Davenport is in for a bumpier ride than usual in this outing.

In spite of the grisly details, I liked this more than Eyes of Prey.
