Key Lime Pie Murder

by Joanne Fluke

It’s Hannah Swensen’s 9th outing, and the series appears to have taken a nosedive.

The entire story takes place at this year’s Tri-County Fair. All of the Swensen gals are busy at the fair:

• Hannah’s judging baked goods (of course),
• Michelle’s participating in the beauty pageant,
• Andrea and Tracy are entered in some sort of mother/daughter contest, and
• Delores is managing the dunk tank.

Of course, Hannah finds a dead body at the fair. Willa Sunquist, judge of baked goods and chaperone to pageant contestants, is the unfortunate victim. As usual, only Hannah can solve this murder!

Not only is the whole fair theme cheesy, but it also takes away from the cozy, communal setting of Lake Eden. Not good.

i dont know...i thought that this book was pretty good. Of course, it was a little annoying that they wouldnt explain Moshies problem, and it was a little cheesy with the fair theme, so i can understand why some people dont like it
