Just Like Heaven

by Julia Quinn

After countless Bridgerton novels, readers finally get to meet one of the famed Smythe-Smiths. Honoria is young, single, and still obligated in the family’s annual musicale. Not that she minds, of course. Honoria’s no violin virtuoso, but this matters little to her as she carries on the family’s tradition.

What does matter to Honoria is her need to get married. She is desperate. She is dreading yet another season. If only she could meet the right man. . .

Enter Marcus Holroyd, the Earl of Chatteris. He is the best friend of Honoria’s older brother, Daniel, and has been entrusted to make sure that Honoria does not make a foolish matrimonial choice.

Of course, Honoria has no idea that Marcus has been chasing away all of the unsuitable suitors. She also doesn’t know that he has fallen in love with her.

Sweet and humorous, this latest offering from JQ includes everything, from medical drama to musicales. Delightful!
