Apple Turnover Murder

by Joanne Fluke

We’re back in Lake Eden, MN for more murder and cookie-baking hijinks.

Mayor Bascombe’s wife has planned a series of charity events, which include casino night, a talent show, and a donkey baseball game. And, of course, concessions include Hannah Swensen’s hot coffee and apple turnovers. When the talent show’s emcee becomes Lake Eden’s latest homicide victim, it’s up to Hannah (and her sisters) to find the murderer.

Add in Hannah’s love triangle and a blast from her romantic past, while stirring in the usual kitty cat antics!

My biggest gripe? The recipes just aren’t sounding so tasty anymore. I would prefer to read a few good ones and consider baking them. Fluke needs to focus on quality, not quantity.
