by Ally Condie
Let me begin by saying that I loved Matched. Interesting characters, plot, and setting. Crossed made me forget all of that. It is not even worthy of being called a sequel to Matched. It is more of an interlude than a sequel.
In a nutshell: Cassia leaves everything behind for the Outer Provinces and the change to reunite with Ky, her (mis)match. She also leaves to search for the Rising, which is a rebellion against the Society.
As I stated, there is nothing to this novel. It is told by alternating points of view (Cassia and Ky), but the voices are interchangeable. Nothing worth reading here, folks. Nothing.
