This updated version of Jane Eyre takes place in Scotland and Iceland in the 1950s and 1960s.

But Gemma is no Jane Eyre. She is not strong like Charlotte Bronte's heroine. And Mr. Sinclair's big secret is not nearly as scandalous as Mr. Rochester's secret.

All in all, a bust. Slow and unsatisfying.
