It took me a while, but I finally finished! 850 pages!
In a nutshell: Claire Randall is a former combat nurse in 1945. Recently reunited with her husband, Claire has a strange experience on their second honeymoon: time travel. After touching some sort of magic stone, she is transported back to Scotland in 1743, and the adventure begins. . .
She meets James “Jamie” Frasier in old Scotland and falls in love. And has sex. This novel includes a lot of sex and a lot of beatings.
I really don’t understand why people love this novel so much. It is long and trashy. I’m secretly glad that no one saw me reading this.
