Alex Lyons has a most excellent work-at-home gig—writer for the popular women’s website, Chick Habit. Her snarky posts are fun and plentiful, but the output is slowly taking a toll on the young woman. Alex rarely leaves her home, and she has now become one with a smelly, black eyelet muumuu.
Things get interesting for our spunky heroine when she receives an unsolicited tip on a story, which includes a raunchy video. When she posts the video and her commentary, Chick Habit and Alex receive a lot of attention, and it isn’t all positive. Suddenly, our fearless narrator is faced with the consequences of her actions, and it’s not very pretty.
Well-paced and fun, but the plot sort of takes a nosedive. Entertaining nonetheless.
