This is the final entry in the Sookie Stackhouse series. At last!
The 13th entry in the popular series starts with a bang, as a former friend of Sookie is killed, and Sookie is charged with the murder. As Sookie tries to find the true killer, she also has to deal with the aftermath of the last novel’s cluviel dor episode. Not only is Eric miffed at her, but Sam isn’t showing any
With the murder charge and two ungrateful men, Sookie’s got a lot on her plate. The whole murder plot is ridiculous, and Harris uses it to bring back several characters, none of whom are particularly interesting or appealing.
Devoted readers of this series will read this novel simply to see which man/creature Sookie finally chooses. And, really, this bit of information should be no surprise to readers, especially after the previous novel. As for me, I approve of Harris’s choice for Sookie. He is very believable and the most realistic
