Relish: My Life in the Kitchen

This delicious graphic memoir is written and illustrated by a young woman who was born to be a foodie. With a mother who was a chef, Lucy was introduced to fine cuisine at a very early age.

In her memoir, she recalls coming of age and discovering street food in Mexico, devouring divine croissants in Venice, and working as a cheese monger at Fox & Obel. Between each chapter, she includes recipes, all of which sound (and look) delicious.

I love the concept of this memoir. Knisley successfully and delightfully recalls a life focused on food and celebrates it at every turn. Yum!
