Neptune.

Neptune is the name of the serial killer who terrorized the town of Brighton Falls during the summer of 1985. The killer would cut off his victim’s right hand and leave it on the steps of the police station. Five days later, the body would be displayed somewhere in town. Neptune terrified the residents of this town and was never caught.

Flash forward to 2010: Reggie is a successful architect, who grew up in Brighton Falls and left as soon as she could. Did I mention that she was 13 years old during Neptune’s reign of terror? And that her mother, Vera, was Neptune’s final victim? Strangely, Vera’s body was never recovered.

Now, 25 years later, Vera has been found. Can she identify Neptune? Is Neptune still alive? Can Reggie unlock the secret identity of the serial killer, as well as her family’s own secrets?
