The Road

by Cormac McCarthy

America has burned. Virtually nothing is left. A man and his boy travel the road. They have each other. They have what they can scavenge along the way. They don’t talk much. They don’t see much. Mostly, they just travel the road.

Bleak story. Spare prose. Limited punctuation. Typical Cormac McCarthy.
