If you liked Then We Came to the End, you will also enjoy Personal Days. As someone who could not stand the aforementioned title, I was not as pleased with Park's novel.
This is the story of an unnamed company and the recent streak of firings. As Pru, Jonah, Laars, and Lizzie try to cope with the uncertainty of work, they also find pleasure in the little things: nicknames for their boss and colleagues, the ridiculously poor office technology, and contrast between the good Starbucks and the bad Starbucks by their office.
I am not a fan of this novel. I did not like the narrative style (ala Ferris), the lack of character development, and the general lack of humor.
