The Little Lady Agency

by Hester Browne

Melissa's been sacked again. I'm sorry, Melissa's been made redundant again. Dear, sweet, organized, efficient Melissa. She's the personal assistant who keeps the office running smoothly, but never takes credit for her work. Without a proper job and a means to pay her bills, she decides to parlay her skills as a problem-solver into a career, and The Little Lady Agency is born. In her work, she does everything from accompany bachelors to office parties to help them with their Christmas shopping. And, just to keep it interesting, Melissa is not Melissa to these men; she takes on a saucy alter ego--Honey. Armed with a blond wig and and sexy stockings, Honey is taking on the world, one pathetic bachelor at a time!

I loved, loved, loved this novel! It's chick lit, to be sure, but Melissa is so much more appealing than the typical chick lit heroine. This is a great read for the beach, but who can wait 'til summer? Read it now!
