A country manor in the Cotswolds sets the stage for romance, intrigue, and a new money-making scheme for its owners. Eversleigh was featured in a new television series, and not surprisingly, its owner, Guy, has fallen in love with the star of the series, Richenda Fox. Meanwhile, Guy’s mother has decided to turn the manor into a destination for those seeking a weekend in the country.
In another part of the village, Honor and Henty are best friends and struggling with their own domestic situations. Honor is a single mum, barely making a living with her cake baking/catering business. Henty is the mother of four and married to the biggest prat in England.
When Guy’s mother hires Honor to help with the country weekends, everything changes for Honor. And Guy. Get it?
