Queen of Babble

by Meg Cabot

Lizzie Nichols is the queen of babbling--she tells everything to everyone, whether they want to hear it or not. She cannot keep a secret, even when it comes to her own personal business. When she pours her heart out to a fellow American on a train to France, she sets off a comical and romantic chain of events. And her babbling actually works in her favor!

This is a typical Meg Cabot novel for adults--full of froth and fun. Lizzie's adventures in England and France will delight all. And her fashion criticisms are spectacular.

I didn't read Can You Keep a Secret? This has a little more to it--among other things, she's working on her thesis on the history of fashion. Definitely worth a listen or read.

All's well. I'm the "Person In Charge" on Wednesday. Six years at DPPL, and I wasn't allowed to work the ref desk--1.5 weeks at CPL and I'm the person in charge. Go figure.

Same with Heidi- first thing I thought when I was reading your description was "Can You Keep a Secret?"

I'll have to check it out- sounds like I'd like it. But then, I like Meg Cabot books.

I enjoyed the Heather Wells mystery. Light and fun. You should read it when you get a chance.

Glad you're enjoying your new job.:)
