Blue Shoes and Happiness

by Alexander McCall Smith

Mma Ramotswe is back and still waxing poetic about her beloved Botswana. Her cases include a terrified village and a case of blackmail. Of course, she solves both while enjoying several cups of bush tea.

By the way, it is her assistant, Grace Makutsi, who purchases the blue shoes and experiences temporary happiness from said shoes.

Nothing new here, a bit wordy (though plot is thin), and probably the last in the series that I will bother to read. Still a decent gentle read, just not for me.
