New Moon

by Stephenie Meyer

(sequel to Twilight)

Memo to Laurell K. Hamilton:

Someone is stealing your ideas and using them in young adult novels.

Yes, it's true: Bella Swan is back, but is heartbroken because her vampire boyfriend, Edward, has left her. No worries: she then hooks up with Jacob Black (you'll remember him as a family friend from Twilight), who just happens to be a werewolf. Hmmmmm. . . this seems to smack of the Anita Blake/Jean Claude/Richard triangle. And then there's this ridiculous Romeo and Juliet parallel thing going on.

Long and silly. If you want vampires, read the first 3 or 4 LKH novels or Blue Bloods by Melissa de la Cruz. Don't bother with this one.
