The School for Husbands

by Wendy Holden

Sophie's not happy with her husband, Mark. He's always working and neglecting Sophie and their young son, Arthur. Things reach a boiling point when he forgets her birthday. Sophie walks out and leaves Mark to figure out how to get her back.

Enter Dr. Martha Krankenhaus and her "School for Husbands." Can Dr. Martha reform Mark? Even if he's reformed, will Sophie take him back? And, to add a little interest, there's an old flame of Sophie's who's hot to get her back.

This is definitely the weakest novel I've read by Holden. It's amusing, but it lacks a likable female lead. It's almost chick lit gone wrong.
