Denis Cooverman is going to go for it in his valedictory speech at Buffalo Grove High School. Yes, it's true: the captain of the debate team is going to profess his love for the head cheerleader, the girl he's sat behind for the past four years, Beth Cooper.
His innovative speech turns a few heads at commencement, but what follows is unbelievable to nerdy Denis and his best friend, Rich, a movie-quoting suspected homosexual. Beth and her pals, Cammy and Treece, make for one incredible graduation night for The Coove.
