Disquiet

There could not be a more fitting title for this gruesome and disturbing novella. In short: Olivia has arrived at her mother’s chateau in France with her two children in tow. She has left her brute of a husband in Australia and still has a broken arm as evidence of the abuse.

Well, she’s not the only one coming home. Her brother, Marcus, and his wife, Sophie, are due to arrive soon. And what they bring to the home is truly disquieting.

Chilling, uncomfortable, and engrossing.
