Boston medical examiner Maura Isles has very few expectations for her trip to Wyoming--just another professional conference. When she runs into a former classmate and takes an unexpected trip, everything changes.

Bad winter weather, a wrong turn, and a cult community lead to lots of trouble for Isles. Who will save her? Jane Rizzoli, of course! Jane is her cop buddy from Boston.

I don't know what to think of this. On the plus side, the pace is this novel is amazing. Lightning fast. On the minus side, the plot got just a wee bit convoluted.

I've never read a novel in this series, but could easily see how it would translate to television (there's a show on TNT). Unfortunately, I will not be reading another novel or viewing the show.

This is definitely not on the level of Gerritsen's other novels (Harvest, etc.)
