The Night Strangers

by Chris Bohjalian

Chip Linton is haunted by a plane crash. And this isn’t just any plane crash: Chip was the pilot and one of the few survivors of the crash.

When he and his family decide to relocate and make a fresh start, they choose a small White Mountain village to call home. Unfortunately, the move seems to be negative for the Lintons and their twin daughters, Hallie and Garnet. In their new home, Chip sees ghosts of the passengers who perished in the plane crash. Also, a spooky group of self-proclaimed herbalists are showing an inordinate amount of interest in the Linton twins.

The unique setting, the well-developed characters, and the terrifying climax all make for a novel you cannot stop reading.
