It's Raining Cupcakes

12-year-old Isabel is nonplussed with her life at the moment. She’s tired of living in boring old Willow, Oregon, and she’s feeling the stress of her mother and her mother’s soon-to-be-open cupcake shop, It’s Raining Cupcakes.

And one more thing: Isabel’s friend, Sophie. Sophie’s a great friend, but Isabel cannot help but to be jealous of Sophie, as everything seems to be going her way.

A baking contest and the upcoming grand opening of It’s Raining Cupcakes keep Isabel busy and motivated. Maybe, just maybe, Is can find some joy in baking and share it with her mother.

This is a nice story for girls, but the ending seemed a little abrupt.
