Our novel takes us to Madison, Wisconsin, home of the University of Wisconsin and Hourglass Vintage. This shop for women’s vintage fashions brings together three women:
• Violet Turner, owner of the shop,
• April Morgan, the shop’s intern, and
• Amithi Singh, a Madison resident who is selling her clothes to the shop.
Besides clothing, what brings these women together? Each is or was involved in a very complicated relationship with the opposite sex. Together, the women find the courage, strength, and wisdom to deal with the men in their lives.
Yes, it is a clichéd novel for women, but it is also very entertaining.
