In this sequel to the clever and unusual Bumped, we rejoin Melody and Harmony in the land of teens as reproductive vessels. Harmony is bumped (pregnant) and carrying Jondoe’s twins. Melody, on the other hand, is faking her pregnancy, as part of a big publicity campaign, Double Double Due Date.
Things heat up when Harmony realizes that she does not want to stay in Goodside, the religious community in which she was raised. Adding to the confusion is Ram, her husband, who is clearly not the father of her soon-to-be-born twins.
And Melody has her own problems. What will happen when everyone finds out that she has been faking her pregnancy? She and her family have been relying upon the Double Double Due Date and its financial rewards. And what about the couple who is supposed to adopt Melody’s twins?
All of this and more will be addressed in this satisfying sequel.
