Emily Sparrow would love to play the lead in the school play. Well, at least until her drama teacher announces the next production: Wuthering Heights. Emily is vocal in her protest, but to no avail.
Determined to play Cathy, Emily prepares a lot for her audition. Why so determined all of a sudden? There’s a new guy in town, and he’d make a perfect Heathcliff. Robert McBride is the gloomy Goth who catches Emily’s eye; much like Heathcliff catches Cathy’s.
Things get sticky when Emily and Robert’s lives start to mirror that of the tortured lover’s. High (teen) drama in Yorkshire! Will the show go on? Will love bloom between the moody star-crossed lovers?
